🌀 Building BOOP
The universe is expanding. From Too Sweet to Eat's bloody finale and Grey's return to the spotlight to new BOOP Mode projects and stories waiting in the wings, here's what's happening across BOOP Universe.
THE BOOP UNIVERSE BLOG

There is a strange moment in every creative project where you realize you've spent so much time building the thing that you haven't stopped to look around at what you've actually built.
That has been BOOP Universe lately.
Behind the scenes, the website has continued to evolve, artwork has continued to pile up, stories have continued to grow, and plans that once lived exclusively inside notebooks and hard drives have slowly started becoming real. The universe is expanding—even when it doesn't always look like it from the outside.
Too Sweet to Eat continues its march toward the finish line. In fact, it's starting to feel more like a sprint as the coloring for Issue 6 of the premier six-issue series nears its bloody, vibrant finale.
The hunt begins.
As Too Sweet to Eat approaches completion, we're beginning to explore the next stage of the journey. That likely means Kickstarter campaigns alongside an active search for the right publishing and distribution partners.
We'd love to work with a publisher we not only respect, but one that understands the tone, audience, and long-term vision of Too Sweet to Eat. Finding the right home matters just as much as finding the right opportunity.
Southern charm meets vibrant horror—because not all monsters lurk in the dark.
While Too Sweet to Eat approaches completion, Interdimensional Vagabond has quietly been gaining momentum. After a hiatus as Barringer stepped into the colorist role for TSTE, Grey, MEGA, and the rest of the IV family are beginning to creep back into the production spotlight.
For those unfamiliar, Interdimensional Vagabond follows Grey, a Rockskipper cursed to "BOOP" from one Earth to another whenever his organic batteries reach full charge. Every new world offers adventure, danger, and the possibility of finally finding a place to call home before the multiverse tears it away from him once again.
There are still many worlds left to visit and a whole lot of drawing standing between us and those adventures, but it'll be worth the wait. Interdimensional Vagabond remains one of the projects we're most excited about, and we can't wait to share more of Grey's journey with everyone.
BOOP Mode continues to grow alongside the comics, with new apparel, merchandise, and collectible artwork already in development.
One of the projects we're especially excited about is a new line of retro comic-inspired designs. We're gathering and restoring incredible artwork from talented creators across the decades and introducing it to a brand-new audience of readers, collectors, and comic fans who can appreciate it all over again.
Outside of conventions, BOOPMode.com remains the exclusive source for Too Sweet to Eat. Issues #1–4 are available now.
🎨 Art, Process, and Everything In Between
Beyond the comics themselves, we've continued sharing artwork, fan art, convention sketches, process work, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into how these projects come together.
Most projects start small. A sketch, a conversation, a joke, a late-night idea. Sometimes they stay that way. Sometimes they become something much larger.
And there are plenty waiting in the wings.
Beyond Too Sweet to Eat and Interdimensional Vagabond, projects like Dark: Sub Rosa continue waiting patiently in the shadows for their opportunity to step into the spotlight.
Once the current production schedule eases up, we'll be diving back into writing with both feet.
🚧 What's Next?
More artwork. More updates. More comics. More worlds.
The BOOP Universe is still under construction, and that's exactly how we like it.
Thank you to everyone following along, reading, sharing artwork, wearing BOOP Mode, and supporting independent creators.
We're just getting started.
🌀 Where vibrant horror, multiversal drama, and raw humanity collide.
